Event Description

California SwimRun is hosting the FIRST SwimRun event in the USA on Sunday, March 6 at Sunset Point on Mission Bay. Based on the Swedish Championship Race: ÖTILLÖ (otilloswimrun.se), SwimRun is the fastest-growing multi-sport endurance race in the world. The SwimRun race in March is a non-stop, 12 Km, 2-person team challenge. There are men, women, & mixed team entries for the race…teammates race together throughout the entire event. There are eight (8) mixed-surface running legs and seven (7) open-water swimming sections throughout San Diego’s Mission Bay Park (the longest swim is 250-meters). The Race Start/Finish is located at Sunset Point on Mission Bay, Dana Landing Rd, San Diego, CA 92109. Race cost: $90/team ($80/team-military) – Register at California SwimRun website: www.californiaswimrun.com. Parking is available at Sunset Point (immediately adjacent to The Dana on Mission Bay). Spectator activities and viewing of the race is all located at the Start/Finish line area.
