EXPERIENCE THE COLONY HALF AND 5 MILER: Sign up quick! Last four years have sold out! The City of The Colony & The Colony Roadrunners Club proudly invite you to run the "2020 The Colony Half and Green Dragon 5 Miler" on Oct 24th, 2020.. Over 50% of this 13.1 mile course runs along The Colony's shoreline trail on beautiful Lake Lewisville. Participants will enjoy a gently undulating, crushed granite trail in a picturesque & natural setting that promises a memorable race experience for all.
GOT BLING? HERE IS YOUR REWARD: Half Marathon Finishers will receive even bigger "Texas-Sized Bling” this year including a huge 4" unique, and two-sided participant race medallion and vie for their name on the coveted “Mayor’s Cup”, put on display in The Colony City Hall after the inaugural 2013 race. We will also award custom trophies to the men and women overall winners and masters winners. Additional awards include custom trophies for all age groups for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place age group winners.
Every participant receives a high quality technical race shirt commemorating the event. The shirts are bright technical wicking shirts and in both men and women sizes. Hydration stations will be ample as will be the post-race celebration & awards ceremony including prizes, pizza, snacks, fruit & choice beverages for all participants. So much value and for such a worthy cause.
We are most proud of The Colony Half sponsors, supporters and volunteers, without whom we could not put on this 100% volunteer organized, managed & race directed legacy event! 100% of the net proceeds support cancer patients & research for cures through our designated cancer fighting non-profit organization, AngelsFallUp.

DATE, LOCATION & START: 10/24/20 in Stewart Creek Park, 3700 Sparks Rd, The Colony, TX 75056. Gun-time is 8:00 a.m. For Green Dragon 5 Miler, 8:10 for Half Marathon. (4 hour limit). The race is chip timed.
PARKING: You may park at Etheridge Elementary or Lakeway Churck as well as inside the park. "For inside park"- Volunteers will direct cars to spaces. Anyone not wanting to wait for rabbits, runners & sweepers to safely clear the park & surrounding area before/after gun-time should exit the park 30 minutes before gun-time or risk significant traffic delays. Safety first!
PACKET PICK UP:
Also inside the park from 6:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. so arrive in time to pick up your bib, timing chip & shirt & bring this registration confirmation with you. We reserve the right to refuse race entry to anyone who does not appear on the verified listing of paid participants, or is unable to produce proof of paid registration or identity. No waiver – no race – no exceptions.
