Event Description

It's a Fourth of July Celebration!  If you think the only race that happens on America's Birthday is seeing who gets a second helping of barbeque first or who can down that cold beverage the fastest, guess again! Before lifting a fork, diving off the back of your boat, and taking a post pool party snooze, hundreds of Andersonian's will start their holiday by celebrating with hundreds of thier closest patriots at America's 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run! 

We welcome the heat of Elite runners, weekend warriors, mamma's with strollers and kids alike along our 3.1 mile certified run course! Or, have a BLAST at the the 1 Mile FUN RUN!
 
Proceeds go to scholarship kids in the community to be active through our Operation Active Kids Program, OAK.  
 
So, if you have a flair for costumed fun, enjoy fun prizes and are looking for a reason to feel guilt free about BBQ and lounging all day, then the stars and stripes are in your favor! Make a light a firecracker and shoot on over to register today!

Date: Independence Day, July 4, 2020

1 Mile Fun Run at 8 AM 

5K at 8:30 AM

Location: Anderson County Courthouse, Under the American Flag!  

Packet Pick Up: Friday, Day before race at Carolina Wren Park Pavillion 12-6pm. 

5K Course: Certified course on city streets - Out and back, rolling hills.  

Cool off with Refreshments and Drinks at Finish Line

Awards: Certificates and prizes  for Top 3 Overall Winners

Age Groups - 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over

Age Division Recognition

All pre registered runners and walkers and gobblers will receive an America's 5K Comfort Tech Mesh Race Shirt and finisher medals. Late entries will receive a shirt while supplies last.

$20.00 Early Registration through April 30

$22.00 Registration - May 1 

$25.00 Registration - June 1

$30.00 Registraiton - July 1
