Event Description

The Pink Ribbon Run features a 4-mile run and 2-mile walk on the Lutheran Hospital campus. All participants receive a Pink Ribbon Run t-shirt and a Vera Bradley tote. The top 2 in each age group will receive a special prize from Vera Bradley. All proceeds benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Research. 

Vera Bradley Co-founders Barbara Bradley Baekgaard and Patricia R. Miller began raising funds for breast cancer research in 1993 after the loss of their dear friend, Mary Sloan. Since then, their genuine commitment to this cause has evolved into the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer is focused solely on investing in breast cancer research. Currently, the Foundation funds research at the Vera Bradley Foundation Center for Breast Cancer Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.Together with our donors, participants and volunteers, we hope for a future free from breast cancer.
