Event Description

Every 34 minutes Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a critical illness in the United States and its territories. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides Make-A-Wish® in everything they do. It inspires them to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. Did you know that Make-A-Wish® grants more than 15,000 wishes nationwide every year? That’s a lot, yes. But that’s only 50% of the eligible kids. Every hour of every day, three children are diagnosed with a critical illness. Every one of these kids needs a wish to give them strength to help them heal. By participating in this virtual race you are providing critical funds for Make-A-Wish® to grant wishes for deserving kids and their families. Let's show these families the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.  The Wishes Virtual Run features a No Run Run, for those simply want to make a donation without running, a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.  You can walk, run, or hike to complete your miles.  If you can't run on September 26, no problem, complete your miles between September 19-26 and submit your time.

This is a virtual race therefore you can run it wherever you want
You have 8 days to complete the distance between September 19th through September 26th
The Run MUST be recorded using a fitness app or GPS Watch (Strava, Nike, Garmin, MapMyRun, etc)
The Fitness App MUST Measure at Least the Following Distances

The Distance MUST be covered in one fitness activity!
Walking is awesome! We love walkers
Running is awesome! We love Racers!
Once you complete the distance please complete the Google Form: GOOGLE FORM
YOU ARE ALL SET!
Once we tally the results on September 27th we will post them to this page in the Results Tab
Shirts and Medals can be picked up at New Balance Greenville on Woodruff road during business hours. If you would like to have the medal and shirt shipped to you please select the shipping option in the registration process. All items will be shipped after the event on September 27th and will be available for pickup at New Balance Greenville on Tuesday September 29th
