Event Description

The 8th Annual Dobbs Ferry Holiday Hustle 5k and Kids Reindeer Fun Run 1k is an annual event hosted by the Dobbs Ferry Youth Services Council. Each year, the proceeds collected benefit the annual holiday gift drive. This year, we are hosting this event entirely VIRTUAL to raise holiday cheer and do our part in contributing to families who are in need. As we all know, COVID-19 has negatively impacted so many Americans and now more than ever, it's essential to give back to our community. 

What is a Virtual Race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill at the gym or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Challenge yourself and complete our 5k alone or with a partner(s)! 

Registration: $15 for single runners || $40 for family up to 5 people || Kids Reindeer Fun Run 1k is FREE! Registration includes a free 2020 Holiday Hustle T-Shirt, a holiday treat and complimentary shipping OR package can be picked up (location TBD). The first 100 registrants will receive a free holiday hustle neck gaiter! 

This is a fun an active way for families and friends to come together, dress up and celebrate the holiday season while practicing social distancing... And remember, this is a FUN RUN so you can take your time, set a new world record, walk it or jog it... Just make sure to take a picture of you and your crew sporting your festive gear, post it to social media and tag #dfholidayhustle. 

The Dobbs Ferry Youth Services Council sponsors this annual event and consists of Dobbs Ferry community leaders, parent volunteers and students from Dobbs Ferry High School, The Masters School and Mercy College. The mission of the Youth Services Council is to improve the quality of life of Dobbs Ferry youth by identifying and addressing their needs, providing leadership and enabling adults and youth to work together collaboratively.
