ABOUT THE RACE:
The Carolina Beach State Park Half Marathon & 5K is a go!  We have been given the greenlight to hold the event.

The event is a trail race in Carolina Beach, NC. With 13.1 and 3.1 mile courses, all levels of speed and ability are allotted an opportunity to race in one of the most unique setting in North Carolina. Rolling pine laced single track along the coast, gives participants tons of interesting terrain to take-in while they put out max effort for unique prizes.  After the race, participants (21+) can enjoy one beer on the outside patio at the American Legion.  Please Note: The after race beer may change depending on the Governor's Executive order in place on January 2, 2021.

Participant Caps:
There are participant caps for this race.
Half Marathon:  250 participants
5K: 250 participants

Half Marathon Course Cutoff: 
3.5 Hours (or 16 minute per mile pace)

Half Marathon Start Times:
The race will utilize start waves of 50 people.  Waves will be determined December 28th.
The first Half Marathon wave starts at 8:00 am, with the last wave at 8:40 am

5K Start Times:
The race will utilize start waves of 50 people.  Waves will be determined December 28th.
The first 5K wave starts at 9:00 am, with the last wave at 9:40 am.
