GETTING TO THE START

Race Day Shuttles
The easiest way to get to the Start Line is by taking a complimentary pre-race shuttle.  Click Here for more pre-race shuttle information.

Dropping Off at Dodger Stadium
Vehicles dropping off runners at Dodger Stadium must enter through the Golden State Gate accessible via I-5.  Use the LEFT lanes leading into the Golden State Gate and proceed to the Runner Drop-Off Area in Parking Lot 4.

Parking at Dodger Stadium
Vehicles parking at Dodger Stadium must enter through the Golden State Gate accessible via I-5.  Use the RIGHT lanes leading into the Golden State Gate and proceed to Parking Lots 1, 2, and 3.  For vehicle retrieval information, visit our Parking page.

 

Once you’ve finished the ASICS LA Marathon, be sure you know where to meet your friends and family!

RUNNER SECURED FINISH ZONE

Once runners cross the Finish Line, they will enter the Runner Secured Finish Zone, which is closed to the non-credentialed public. The Runner Secured Finish Zone is located on Ocean Ave from California Ave to Santa Monica Blvd. Runners will keep moving south on Ocean Ave to collect their finisher medal, mylar blanket, Water, Gatorade Endurance Formula, post-finish food, and any items at Gear Check. Runners will exit the Runner Secured Finish Zone at Santa Monica Blvd. Spectators are not allowed into the Runner Secured Finish Zone.

SPECTATOR ACCESS

Spectator access will be closed on Ocean Ave from Washington Ave to Santa Monica Blvd. Palisades Park will also be closed to spectators from Washington Ave to Santa Monica Blvd. Any spectator wishing to watch their runner cross the Finish Line will need to station themselves on Ocean Ave north of Washington Ave.

Spectators are strongly encouraged to meet their runners at the Finish Festival or Family Reunion Area (location TBA).

FAMILY REUNION

Make arrangements to meet your family at one of the letters of the alphabet (location TBA).

FINISH FESTIVAL

The Finish Festival is home to the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden, music, and other fun entertainment and giveaways! (location TBA)

Michelob ULTRA BEER GARDEN

Runners will be able to pick up their complimentary Michelob ULTRA at the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden (hours TBA). Wristbands will be required and can be picked up at the Health & Fitness Expo. If you are unable to pick up your wristband at the Expo, there will be an ID check station located at the entrance of the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden where you can show your ID and those 21+ can pick up a wristband.

MASSAGE TENT

All runners are able to receive a complimentary massage after completing the ASICS LA Marathon. (location TBA)

HOTEL SHUTTLES

For participants who booked hotels in Downtown LA or Beverly Hills through our Hotel Reservation Center, Hotel Shuttles will be staged at Santa Monica City Hall.  Shuttles require a wristband to board and will depart every half-hour beginning at 11:00 am with the last pick-up at 4:00 pm.

TRANSPORTATION AT THE FINISH

Spectator Parking
Spectator parking in Santa Monica opens in most city-owned parking lots at 6:00 am. Click Here for a real-time parking map of available parking lots.

Bus Hub
To make taking public transit to/from Santa Monica easier on race day, the Big Blue Bus will offer all transit service from a single Bus Hub on 11th St between Olympic Blvd and Colorado Ave.  All Big Blue Bus lines that operate in Santa Monica on Sundays will stop here (a map will be published in March).

Metro will provide a free shuttle to and from the Expo Line Culver City Station for those looking for an easy connection to/from Downtown LA.

Participants looking to take public transit back to Union Station should catch Big Blue Bus Route 10 (updated Big Blue Bus and Metro schedules to be published in March)

Bike Valet
The City of Santa Monica will provide a Bike Valet from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm at both the Bike Center on 2nd St at Colorado Ave and on Ocean Ave at Tongva Park.

 

 

COURSE ENTERTAINMENT APPLICATION

The ASICS LA Marathon is known for its start-to-finish entertainment program to encourage runners and to celebrate the city’s diversity. More than 25 bands, 600+ cheerleaders, 4 entertainment centers and nearly half of the Official Charities will have programs on the course, celebrating the triumph of each marathoner.

The application for course entertainment at the 2015 ASICS LA Marathon will be available in early 2015.
