Cristian's Big Heart 5k | Produced by Together As 3 Point One

Cristian’s Big Heart 5k celebrates the life of Cristian Acosta-Flores who passed away on September 1, 2014, one day shy of his 19th birthday. Cristian’s life was cut tragically short due to complications from an undiagnosed enlarged heart.

The name Cristian's Big Heart 5k sheds light on this important health issue but also reminds his friends and family of the way Cristian loved and lived. His Big Heart always lent a hand, encouraged others, and cared deeply for those around him. And when you ask people how they remember Cristian they will say, “We remember Cristian for always giving and making people laugh."

JOIN US August 30th as we celebrate Cristian’s life, continue his legacy, raise awareness, and fundraise for “Screen your Teen,” a local heart screening program for teenagers in San Diego run by the Eric Paredes Save A Life Foundation.

The 5k finish line area will be an Expo with games for kids, inflatables, a photo booth, face painting, and more!
