Virtual 5K July 11-24, 2021

This July, Puma is partnering with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation to raise money & help find a cure. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D. 

An estimated 3 million Americans are affected by Crohn's Disease or Colitis. Crohn's Disease can affect any part of the GI Tract where Ulcerative Colitis is limited to the colon.  Both are autoimmune diseases which currently have no cure. Most people with these conditions will need to take medication for the rest of their lives. The symptoms can be mild to severe and sometimes are debilitating, requiring numerous surgeries. This is especially difficult when the patient is a child. Please join us in taking steps towards finding a cure.

This race is being held virtually & you have from July 11th to July 24th to complete your 5K. Please follow all local, state, and federal COVID-19 guidelines when completing your 5K. Please share any pictures on social media to raise awareness for this great cause.
