Event Description

This will be the 30th edition of the annual Wickham Park Cross Country Summer Series covering a challenging 2.6 mile course. The series consists of 5 Monday evening races to be held starting at 6:30PM on June 28, July 12, July 19, July 26, and Aug 2. Scoring will be best 3 out of 5 races for age group prizes. Racers under 18 require a parent or guardian's approval and should be capable of completing the course in less than 45 minutes without supervision.

We encourage participants to take advantage of the opportunity to register for the full series at a discounted price. Use the first couple to get familiar with the course and then let it rip the last 3 to score a PR and go for age-group awards!

Free entry to park for race participants, Spectators pay the regular fee which supports the up-keep of the park and no restrictions on exploring the park while runners warm-up and cool-down after the race.

Net proceeds from participant fees to benefit Manchester High School Shoe Fund which provides running shoes to student athletes that cannot afford them.
