Event Description

Cottage Hospital has served the Upper Connecticut Valley for over 117 years. True to our mission, we are committed to strengthening the health of our community by providing accessible, compassionate, quality healthcare. On September 19, 2021, we are hosting the first annual Cottage Hospital Any Which Way 5k fundraising event. Proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of an ultrasound unit that will be used by our General Surgeon, Dr. Christopher Danielson. Participants of this event can choose to run in a sanctioned 5K race, take part in a walk-a-thon, or complete a bike-a-thon.

5K ROAD RACE REGISTRATION COSTS:
ADULT (18+): $25  
YOUTH (17 and under):  $20 

CHILD (10 and under):  $10

BIKE-A-THON REGISTRATION COST:

$25.00

RACE SWAG:

Dri-fit material t-shirt available for an additional $5.  Cut off is August 1, 2021

PRIZES:

Top 3 overall male/female finishers.  Top 3 male/female finishers in age groups 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 - 69, 70 - 79, 80+

FUNDRAISING AWARDS:  
There will be awards for participants that raise the highest sponsorship amount for the walk-a-thon / bike-a-thon events. Categories for awards include team and individual highest money raised.

BIB PICK UP:
August 6th is the last day to register and still be eligible for a shirt.
Bib and shirt pick-up will be held on race day, September 19th.

BOX LUNCH:

Boxed lunch will be available for purchase following the event. 

VIRTUAL OPTION:

• Register for the race.

• Complete the 5K (3.1 miles),  Run, jog or walk any time and location that you choose... while observing proper social distancing of course! 

• Submit your results online (top right-hand corner of the registration page under RESULTS)

• Post your pics on our Facebook page - there will be a thread pinned to the top of the page for you to post your awesome pictures (optional)
