Empire State Challenge 4 Mile Team Road Race
This is a road race between the four USATF Associations of New York State.  The race is also serving as the USATF Niagara Association 4 Mile Road Race Championship

Date:  Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 9am

Distance/Course:  This is an Approximately four mile hairpin out and back course. It is predominantly flat road with a final 150 yard grass stretch finishing at the Cortland Track Stadium. Course has one significant uphill and one downhill, long straight-aways and several sweeping turns.

Divisions: 19 and under, 20-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. All team members must wear the Association Jersey. Association jerseys will be distributed by the team manager for each association. Unless indicated Masters runners will score in their age division.

Awards:  The winning team and top 10 individuals in age division will win. The winning team will be determined by the cumulative time for the top four individuals of the team.

Association Teams:   Each association may declare seven (7) individuals for each division team for men and women. Declarations are due by Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 11:59pm EST.

Registration Deadline:  All runners who wish to participate must be registered by the July 21, 2021 deadline.  There will be no day of registration.

Entry Fee:  $30 By July 17th, $35 By July 21st.  All USATF Members will receive a $5 discount when they enter there 2021 USATF Membership during registration.

T-Shirts:  Race shirts are guaranteed to all registered by July 17, 2021.

Facilities: Bathrooms will be available at the Stadium.

USATF Niagara Association Championship:  The Empire 4 Mile Team Challenge is also serving as the 2021 USATF Niagara Association Open and Masters Championship.  Only USATF Niagara Association Members will score for this portion of the race.  USATF Niagara Members may score for their club in the USATF Niagara Grand Prix Series, individually for the USATF Niagara Association Championship and earn points in the 2021 USATF Niagara Runner Of The Year Series.  USATF Niagara members who score for their club are eligible to compete and score for the Association Team Challenge as well.
