Event Description

Come and run through rural country roads on October 9, 2021. The Heart and Sole 5K is dedicated to the memory of Byron Head, a beloved member of our community who passed away suddenly several years ago from heart disease. His family, along with other community members and businesses have come together for the past four years  to  promote heart awareness. Enjoy the mostly flat course alongside country roads and pastures with a nice downhill finish. The event also includes post race drinks and snacks. Come for the race and stay afterwards to experience Heart Awareness Day. Proceeds are used to provide AED units to local organizations.
