Event Description

What Evertt Takes Trail 5k

Toe the starting line and travel through the colorful tree-lined trails of Isabella County Deerfield Nature Park on the last weekend of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, September 26, 2021, as runners and walkers embark on a journey to do What Everett Takes to bring an end to childhood cancer.

The What Everett Takes Trail 5K is held in honor of Everett House, a fierce two-year old diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and began his fight on November 30, 2020; benefits from this event will be donated toward childhood cancer research and treatment on behalf of the House Family. When you donate $50 we'll give you $10 off your entry fee or $100.00 and receive $15 off.

Join a community of friends, family, runners and walkers as we rise together to raise funds in the fight against childhood cancer and continued research towards a cure. You bring the smiles, we’ll provide the miles!

All finishers will receive a custom wood medal and you have the option to purchase a tri-blend T-shirt if ordered before September 10th.
