Event Description
Join us this October for the virtual 2021 PeDRA Dash for Discovery! This inaugural event will give runners and walkers of all ages and abilities the chance to support research and collaboration in the field of pediatric dermatology with their choice of a 5K fun run/walk or a 1 mile kids run/walk. So lace up your running or walking shoes and put on some miles to help accelerate research to improve the lives of children and families living with dermatologic conditions and disease.
Register by September 10 to ensure your spot in the event, run t-shirt, running bib, and participant medal*. You'll have the chance to join teams and set fundraising goals to make the Dash even more fun and meaningful. Fundraise $100 or more, in support of your run or walk to earn some cool PeDRA swag.
As a virtual event, your Dash will take place between Friday, October 8 and Sunday, October 10 on a course of your own design. Make it what you want it to be, while knowing your running alongside a proud community pursuing the shared goal of ending the burden of childhood skin disease through research. Compete against your friends, build it into your weekend long run, walk to the coffee shop and back, or don spirited attire and march down the sidewalk. Anything goes!
The 2021 PeDRA Dash for Discovery is the perfect way to support PeDRA's Mission to create, inspire, and sustain research to prevent, treat, and cure childhood skin disease and improve the lives of children with skin disease.
PeDRA is excited to give runners and walkers the opportunity (totally optional!) to use the 2021 PeDRA Dash for Discovery to raise funds in support of pediatric dermatology research. Please consider creating a team to help encourage each other and inspire competition between the teams.

All registration closes at 6:00pm, Friday, October 8, 2021.
*Fun run medals will be sent to the first 250 registrants located in North America. Receipt of t-shirts, medals, and bibs prior to October 8 is not guaranteed to participants in the United States who sign up after September 10 or any participants outside the United States. Participants located outside of North America will receive a t-shirt, electronic welcome packet, and a downloadable running bib.
