Event Description

The 9 -11  Memorial Run, also known as the run to remember, is a 9.11K run is an annual event put on to remember the lives of those lost in the September 11 terror attacks on our country. Each year we come together to remember those who were lost and celebrate the heros that worked to save and serve that day.

Packet Pick up will be Friday 10 September  from 1200-1800 at the Abilene Running Store 

2654 Industrial BLVD or Saturday at Redbud Park from 0530-0630 just prior to the race.

The race will have a 0700 start time so please be at the start line a few minutes early to stretch and warm up and for the national anthem.

The course is a 9.11K flat open road course starting at Red Bud Park and winding through the nearby neighborhood. It will be marked and should be easily to navigate. It is an open course so be alert and aware of traffic. 

There will be water at the start and finish and water stations on the course, but be sure to hydrate prior to the run as well!
