Event Description

Pediatrics Club and Oncology Club at University of Toledo College of Medicine will be joining forces to host a 5k run/walk in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Rockets for Wishes, a new organization that connects area physicians with resources to grant child oncology patient's wishes through the Make a Wish Foundation! The remaining proceeds will benefit the pediatrics and oncology clubs at UTCOM to be used for our other medical education and community outreach efforts. The race will be held on University of Toledo's Main Campus at 9:00 a.m. on 10/22/21. Registration includes a race t-shirt, racing bib, and post-race refreshments! Come join us for a morning of fun to support a great cause!
