Event Description

Race location is spectacularly scenic with views of a pristine lake and the Blue Ridge Mountains.  The bike course starts off with a fast downhill then completes 2 loops before heading into transition 2 at the Weir Dam.  The run will be mostly on gravel running path with views of the lake the whole way.

All 3 races will be a 750 meter swim, 20k bike, and 5k run.

Saturday PRE-RACE MEETINGS

• 4:00pm – Course preview at venue
• 5:00pm – Required pre-race meeting (NCAA) and then Packet Pickup

Sunday RACE DAY

• 5:00am – Race Course/Transition/Finish Line setup
• 6:30am-7:45am – Transition open, chip pickup, body marking
• 7:30am – ROAD CLOSURE, Swim Warm-up
• 8:00am – NCAA Race Start
• 8:45am - Mens Collegiate Club Start
• 9:30am – Age Group Race Start
• 9:30am – NCAA Award Ceremony
• 10:15am - Mens Collegiate Club Award Ceremony
• 11:00am - Age Group Award Ceremony
