Event Description

Oregon-Northwood Rotary Club will hold its annual Run for Literacy and Golf Ball Drop on Sunday Sept. 12th, 2021 at 9 am. The event is to raise awareness for the programs our club sponsors in community schools. A 3.1 mile route has been mapped out on Northwood streets and will be manned by NPD and NFD for a safe experience for all ages of runners. A walking trail in the park behind the fire station will provide slower movers with a measured route. All participants will receive a water bottle and goodie bag. At 10:30 am, a Golf Ball Drop from Northwood's own firetruck Tower 83 will determine the $1000 cash prize winner for the raffle. Tickets available to be purchased at the race.
