Join us at Jefferson Barracks County Park -- or on your own turf -- in this community building and fun-raising event for the Fisher House in St. Louis. Walk, Run or Roll on a 5K timed event on a slightly hilly, paved path suitable for wheelchairs, surrounded by nature. Or choose half that, for an approximately 1-1/2 mile relaxed event. Or pick your own place to wear your fantastic Fisher House in St. Louis long-sleeved t-shirt! 

Help us celebrate the success of the VA Fisher House at Jefferson Barracks, which has served more than 11,750 guests since it opened in 2010. The non-profit organization Fisher House in St. Louis has helped this Fisher House serve many hundreds of families of Veterans and active duty military personnel who received care from the Department of Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care System. 

The big news is the Board of Directors is ramping up exciting, long-term plans and fundraising to build a second Fisher House in St. Louis, alongside the John Cochran campus of the VA Medical Center in St. Louis. You can help us spread the word and tell as many people as possible that Fisher House is here to serve! The St. Louis VA provides specialty health care procedures and draws from either surrounding states. Guests to the Fisher House in St. Louis have travelled more than 50 miles to be by the bedside of their loved ones. We serve them with the motto:  "...because a family's love is good medicine"
