Event Description
Life Steps Foundation proudly presents its Fun Run for Inclusion 2021 virtual 5K benefit event. This virtual event is open to all ages. You can walk, run, bike, or hike at your pace and in your preferred setting to complete the distance. All proceeds from the event will benefit the work we do with children who may be diagnosed with learning delays or special needs, as well as adults with developmental disabilities and seniors.
Who We Are
Life Steps Foundation offers in-home and center based services to individuals with developmental disabilities and seniors. Our Children and Family Services program works to maximize the development of infants and toddlers (birth to 5 years old), who have or are at risk for developmental delays, and educate and support their parents in strengthening parent/child relationships. The Adult Services programs empower individuals to become involved in their life management, make informed choices, and participate in self-advocacy. Our service model recognizes the unique challenges that people with developmental disabilities encounter and our programs address them all, from independent living and personal fulfillment to parenting and family preservation. Our Senior Homemaker Program provides personal care services like assistance with laundry, meal preparation, and bathing and dressing, to older adults over the age of 60 who reside in San Luis Obispo County, City of Lompoc, and City of Santa Maria Valley.

Early Bird registration is now available to purchase.
Early bird tickets for individuals are $35 per runner and for group of 5+ people is $30 per runner are available until August 31, 2021. General registration will be available starting September 1, 2021. General registration for individuals is $40.00 per runner and a group of 5+ is $35 per runner. Each registration ticket includes a race bib and medal. If you choose to register the week before the event, you will receive your items AFTER the event finishes.
