Event Description
Missouri City Parks & Recreation and Lake Olympia Home Owners Association would like to invite you to join the Freedom Tree Run, Walk, Roll, and Stroll 5k held on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Invite a friend or bring the whole family to participate in this untimed, non-competitive 5k designed to raise awareness and money for the improvements of Freedom Tree Park. Whether you chose to run, walk, bike, or push the little one in their stroller, come out to get active and support the community in our effort to improve Freedom Tree Park!
All entry fee proceeds and donations will go towards the Missouri City Parks Foundation and the Freedom Tree Park Project.
To guarantee a Race T-Shirt, you must register by Monday, September 27.

Race Day Schedule: (times are subject to change)
7:30 am – Check in
8:00 am – Race Start
- Bicycles 1st – 8:00 am
- Runners 2nd – 8:05 am
- Walkers 3rd – 8:10 am
9:30 am – Race Ends
A course map, parking map, race bib, and Freedom Tree Run, Walk, Roll, & Stroll T-shirt will be provided to you in your Race Packet. Race packets can be picked up from the Missouri City Recreation & Tennis Center (2701 Cypress point Dr.) Wednesday, October 6 (6:30am – 9:30pm), Thursday, October 7 (6:30am – 9:30pm) and Friday, October 8 (8am – 5pm). Please a photo ID when picking up your race packet. The starting line will be at the corner of Misty Hollow Dr. and Glenn Lakes Ln. Please arrive at Community Park (1700 Glen Lakes Ln.) no later than 7:30 a.m. on event day to ensure you are able to park and check-in prior to the start of the race.
