Event Description

Come challenge yourself by showing off your ability to be an endurance athlete at the 1st Annual West River Youth Triathlon! The sport of triathlons provides a fun and healthy opportunity to help youth stay active and fit. The laps will be completed in the indoor lap pool inside the West River Community Center lap pool. The biking and run/walk will be completed clock-wise around the Community Center outdoor path. The route will be marked and volunteers will be along the route to give direction. Bring your swim-suit, towel, helmet, and running shoes. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded a metal in each age group. Door prizes will be given and each pre-registered youth will receive a t-shirt. Watch for on-line registration to open Thursday, September 19th.
