Event Description

Join Women of Winchester for this special W.O.W. Warrior Walk at The Museum of  The Shenandoah Valley walking trail on Saturday, October 16th from 9am-11am.

All proceeds will go to the The Laurel Center. The Laurel Center has been providing emergency shelter and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their dependent children in the City of Winchester and the counties of Frederick and Clarke for close to 40 years. Their philosophy is empowerment through support and education and they provide clients with knowledge, methods, and tools to make healthy choices, cope with the present situation and to prevent, when possible, violence in the future.
