Event Description
The pandemic we're facing has changed the world as we know it. No doubt, everyone can say they have been affected in some way over the last 18 months.
As we try to regain a sense of normalcy, many are looking to the past as a place to start. It is our privilege to help you do that.
On Saturday, October 2, 2021, please plan to join us once again for the 11th annual Bike for Boys & Girls Club ride. As always, it will be held in beautiful Washington County, feauturing great scenery and quiet roads to ride. There are four routes: 18mi, 32mi, 62mi, and a Century.
Traveling through the scenic rolling hills of Washington County and passing through beautiful farmland and kaolin mining areas, this is a ride you won't soon forget! The course provides “on the road” SAG support as well as 7 rest stops with air pumps and other repair tools. Rest stops are made possible through the support of Boys & Girls Club and our local Fire Departments.
All of the proceeds from the bike ride benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta Washington County Club. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Locally, Boys & Girls Clubs provide youth with fun, academic based activities in a safe, positive environment.
