Event Description

With the current COVID-19 status, our Danville 5K walk/run will be a virtual one. We feel this is the best decision to protect our friends and family that are more at risk. This years 5K will take place from September 26 - October 2, with winners being announced October 4th. 

Make this walk/run fun by doing it as a small group! Since the walk is virtual pick a day/time to meet at a park and enjoy spending time with friends, family, and fellow walker/runners. 

All registered participants will receive an official event t-shirt and goodie bag. T-shirts and goodie bags can be picked up at the KHAKY office in Lexington (Monday-Friday, 9-4) or can be mailed upon request. Certificates will be mailed to all winners.

Even it you are not interested in running or walking the event, you can still participate by being a fundraiser! Request a t-shirt sales log and/or hold your own small events to raise money for our mission! The individual raising the most money will receive a framed certificate and $100 Amazon gift card. All t-shirt sales MUST be turned in to KHAKY by no later than September 9, 2021 at 4pm.
