DESCRIPTION

Join us for a special cause- Ryan Ennis was one of our most exceptional Paradise employees.  His wisdom and motivation as a co-worker has inspired so many.  He continues to inspire and encourage others to be the best they can be.  

Now Ryan needs our motivation and support.  He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metaskatic Lung Cancer.  Join us September 26th for our 6th annual 5k as we raise funds to support Ryan in this challenging journey.

  MAIL-IN REGISTRATION...form can be downloaded from seashorestriders.com on the Paradise Grill 5k race page.  Please fill out the form completely & neatly, double checking Age, Gender, Entry Fee Price (some events have different fees) & Event Choice.
  Mail completed paper registration to: Seashore Striders; P.O. Box 99, Nassau, DE. 19969.   Please mail by Monday of Race Week to be guaranteed an event t-shirt/swag. (Depending on when we receive it, your t-shirt may be ordered on the Monday following the race)

  RACE COURSE

  Flat & Fast & 2 to choose from...both courses start at the same starting line and 1/4m into the race the courses split and you can go right to take in the "water" course or you can go straight to take in the "woods/off-road out & back" course. The courses come back together at 2.6 miles for a dash to the finish. Very unique and the only event in De that does this to my knowledge.

   

  RACE TIMING

  Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team and will be using the Chronotrack B Chip system.  
  
   

  RACE AMENITIES

  Finish line produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.,” Post-Race awards ceremony within 20 minutes following the final finisher, custom t-shirts, custom awards, and the best post-race refreshment spread on Delmarva.
   
   

  AWARDS  

  Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), as well as the top three (3) Male & Female finishers in the following 10 year age categories: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, then 10-year age groups through 80+.   Awards will be presented within 20 minutes following the final runner crossing the finish.
   

  
  REFUNDS/DEFERRAL  

  The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, however we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options:  1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year.   2. Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event or to the Seashore Strider Youth Running program.  3. Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event.  Thank You for your cooperation & understanding as some situations are beyond the control of the Seashore Striders.
