Event Description

CCD's "Spooktacular" Race for Recovery is a family-friendly 5k walk/run that will be held on Friday, 10/22/21 (5pm start time) at St. Peter the Apostle School in New Castle, DE. We hope you will join us and come walk/run through the beautiful streets of Historic New Castle to support a great cause.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards supporting our C.A.R.E. (Community Advocacy, Recovery Empowerment) Program that provides care & case management to individuals as they move through the various stages of recovery from a Substance Use Disorder. This fundraiser will also support our youth prevention program, HOPE (Healthy Options for Prevention Education), that will help us plant the seeds of prevention for the next generation of Delaware's youth.

Costumes are encouraged as we will have prizes for best costumes for each age group. We look forward to having a spooky good time with everyone!!
