submersion14 invites you to our first annual 5k Jax Beach Run/Walk

Join us for this great beach run, while competing you also receive a t-shirt, chocolate finisher medal with race logo, back pack - and your are helping a great cause.  Can't make it that morning??  Please join us for the virtual race option.  Run 3.1 miles and send us your time and we will mail you your items! 

Here is a little background on submersion14 and why your participation can change lives around the world…

submersion14 is on a mission to change the lives of all people that we impact. Our goal is to help people know they are deeply loved and that they have a great purpose in this world. submersion14 improves lives through humanitarian assistance, cleaning up the environment, and meeting individuals where they are at on a personal level. We do this in very specific ways. First, the ahava14 Backpack contains eco-friendly items inside that promote cleanliness (hygiene items), creativity (crayons and activity pages), activity (jump rope and hacky sack), school supplies (notebooks, folder, pencils, colored pencils, eraser, sharpener, pens, and pencil pouch) and sustainability for children in poverty. Second, we believe job creation is what will help break the cycle of poverty. submersion14, Inc. provides jobs, locally and globally, to individuals to make items that go into the ahava14 Backpack. Also, for projects (ex. House that was built for a single mother in Guatemala) we hire indigenous people to complete these tasks for a complete return into to the country's economy. Third, we emphasize sustainability, not only in all of our backpack items, but also in the lives of every person we impact. All our items are sustainable to the environment and we also believe in creating sustainable lives by showing people they are loved and have worth and purpose in this world.

Online registration closes at noon on Friday, Oct 15, 2021

There may be an opportunity to purchase event t-shirts (if available) at the event. Quantities and sizes will not be guaranteed. All sizes up to adult XL will be $20. Adult sizes 2XL & 3XL - $25.

Packet Pickup

** Packets will be available for pick up starting at 8 am, on the beach at the pier, the morning of the run / walk.

Fundraising:

·       Once registered, please consider claiming & creating your fundraising page. Then, reach out to family, friends, and co-workers to sponsor you in order to raise more money for the cause.

·       Creating a team is another way to have a larger impact!

The top 3 individual fundraisers will receive their prize on the day of the event.

50/50 raffle - Tickets will be $10/ea. or 3 for $25. You do NOT need to be present to win. Drawing will be held after/at the end of the event. Winner will be notified by phone on Monday 10/18/2021.
