Event Description

Asylee Women Enterprise (AWE) is once again offering a hybrid in-person / virtual 5K race this October!

The in person event will have flexible start times during a three hour window at beautiful Lake Montebello in Baltimore. Or you can choose to run your 5K at any time the week prior to Saturday Oct 16th and be a virtual 5K participant. 

Registration is free, but we are asking each participant to make a dedicated effort to fundraise at least $50 on behalf of AWE. 

Your support will help us house and provide critical services to women and children seeking
asylum in the US. COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted asylum seekers, and they need
your support now, more than ever before. AWE provides holistic services including housing,
case management, ESL, job training, connection to legal, medical, and mental health services,
material support (food pantry, clothing closet, diapers, etc...). 

We need your support now, more than ever, as we prepare to welcome forced migrants from Afghanistan.
