Event Description
The Wimberley Ministerial Alliance presents the second annual Wimberley Turkey Trot 5K!
Join us on Thanksgiving Day at the First Baptist Church parking lot by the Winter Mills trail head at 8:30am for a rally followed by a Fun Run! You can also invite out of town friends and family to compete together virtually!
NOTE: We cannot guarantee shirt sizes for registrations made after November 5.

8:30am // Shirt Pickup + Rally
9:00am // Fun Run
Can't join us on race day? Don't worry! You can still register online and race with us anywhere at anytime! We'll ship your t-shirt to you after race day if you're not able to pick it up!

All proceeds will benefit Operation Good Shepherd, a community effort to support families and individuals in need in Wimberley and the surrounding area.

How does it work?
- Register online! (Then start training!)
- Shirts will be available on Race Day or shipped to you after the race if needed.
- We'll gather for an in person rally at 8:30am on Thanksgiving Day morning, followed by a Fun Run! You can also participate virtually anywhere at anytime between Wednesday, November 24th to Saturday, November 27th!
- Take pictures and post on social media using #wimberleyturkeytrot
- Log your results on the 'Results' tab
Where do I run?
We'll have a Fun Run at the Winters Mill trail directly after the rally! If you're not able to join there, you can also check out Blue Hole Regional Park or run your favorite route anywhere!
Who can run the Wimberley Turkey Trot 2021?
We encourage everyone to join the fun! This is a perfect event for the whole family to enjoy together, whether with us on Thanksgiving Day or at your preferred place and time!
What do you get?
All participants will receive a short sleeve high quality technical shirt with the logo on the front and the names of the participating church sponsors on the back! Not to mention, an empty stomach to fill up later in the day :)
Who is the beneficiary?
All proceeds will benefit Operation Good Shepherd.
How do I track my progress or show my results?
You can enter your results into the race website under the 'Results' tab.
