Wow! Rent The Chicken is doing this EGG-CITING thing for a second year in a row! We're fundraising for our friends at Coops for Troops / Coop Dreams by hosting a VIRTUAL 5k / 10k Fun Run - The 2021 Chicken Trot 5k / 10k!
The 2021 Chicken Trot 5k / 10k Fun Run is brought to you by Rent The Chicken to benefit Coops for Troops! The love of chickens, Coops for Troops, and running came full circle to create this Chicken Trot!
Here are the details:
Coops for Troops is an incredible program that provides coops, chickens (most times provided by Rent The Chicken!), feed, and supplies to veterans in need of support of the healing power of chickens! With your help, Coops for Troops can make a difference in the lives of veterans and families of deployed military personnel through the power of therapy chickens.
After registering, you'll receive an authentic racing bib and a "dog tag" style finisher medal! You can also form a team and/or ask your friends to sponsor you as well. You can walk, walk/run, or use it as your next 5k / 10k race!
RunSignUp allows for you to use an app of your choice to track your miles then you submit your official times to print out your very own 2021 Chicken Trot Finisher Certificate! If you'd like to submit your times, plan to register by October 27th to receive your swag in time to participate between November 7th and 13th in honor of Veteran's Day. Otherwise, register any time before November 13th, participate at your leisure, and you'll still receive the authentic racing bib and "dog tag" style finisher medal.
Since Rent The Chicken offers services to USA & Canada, we invite Canadians and Americans to participate receiving the race bib and "dog tag" finisher medal. Outside of the USA & Canada can donate and/or participate but due to shipping, the race bib & "dog tag" finisher medal will not be provided. The 2021 Chicken Trot Finisher Certificate is available to all who participate!
