Event Description
The Ferndale Police Association is dedicated to sponsoring events that bring its members, their families and the public together to promote, facilitate and contribute to a safe and healthy community. The FPA supports local volunteer programs, youth oriented events, emergency response personnel and their families in crisis and other local charities by donating our resources of time, energy and money.
Many of our community outreach programs operate with volunteer help and tight budgets. Your continued participation and financial support is appreciated.
Event details and schedule
Thank you very much for registering for this years event! We are excited to be teaming up with the Old Settlers Pioneer Park annual celebration. We will have refreshments for all runners and walkers, along with great looking shirts to remember this years' event! Our run is a rain or shine event, so please dress for the weather.
Your paid registration supports the Ferndale Police Association. All the monies received for this event are disbursed back into our local community organizations. The Ferndale Boys & Girls Club, Matt Herzog Foundation, and Chief for a Day are just a few organizations you are helping to support.
INITIAL MEET & PARKING: Registration and check-in will start at 8:00a.m. at the Large Covered Picnic area. The best parking will be found on Second Ave by the school and at the very end of Second Ave by the baseball fields. You can pick up your race packet and bib when you check in that morning. We will be drawing prizes once everyone is checked-in, so make sure to check back at the Large Covered Picnic area to see if you won anything!
The Grand Parade starts at 11:00 with lots of activites taking place at Pioneer Park throughout the day. Come prepared to spend a few hours and enjoy this local family-oriented community event!
