Event Description

In the spirit of giving back, F3 Afton is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd Annual Mount Afton Challenge. Join us for this great cause and find out who can complete the most 1 mile laps in the Runner and Rucker divisions and earn the title… King of the Mount.

This years event is a fundraiser for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention services, which has impacted the Afton AO in a very personal way this past summer and obviously many more in our community at large. Thru the F3 Foundation, F3 Afton will donate funds raised for this event to the Cabarrus County Chapter of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

WHEN: Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 8am – 10am

WHO: F3 Meca Pax that want a Running or Rucking challenge. Event will last 2 hours, but we invite the pax to modify as necessary. 

Registration will not commit you to continuous running/rucking for 2 hours. The challenge is simply you vs. you… what you can do! That being said there will be prizes for the runner/rucker with the most distance covered and also for the fastest laps in each division.

Did we mention the After Party: 10am – until… The Wine Room in Afton Village is opening early to serve food and drinks while we all recover and relive the events from the day.
