Event Description

Run with us virtually between January 15th-18th. The Spokane Indian Reservation was established by executive order on January 18th 1881 by President Rutherford B. Hayes. Our traditional lands were reduced from over 3 million acres to 156,000 acres. 

We are puchasing our own event timing system to allow us to do our own timing and to free up more funds from each race to be donated vs. paying a non-tribal event timing company.

Proceeds from this run will be split: 75% going towards the costs of the event timing system, 25% going towards our next project - erecting monuments/displays at the Battle of Spokane Plains, Battle of Four Lakes, and Horse Slaughter to tell the Native American side of history.
