Is your new year’s resolution to get active? Now’s the time to crush those goals! Westly’s 5th Annual Virtual 5K is a great way to start. Let’s get moving together – virtually or in person!

Here’s how a virtual 5K works: register first, then complete 3.1 miles between January 1-31 at your own pace, wherever you like, whenever you like. Want to bike the West Orange Trail? Sweet. Hike at Oakland Nature Preserve? Do it. Rollerblade around your neighborhood? We support you. If you want to break it up into segments, by all means – go for it! Tell your family and friends, because it’s open to all ages.

Want to complete 3.1 miles in person with an awesome group? Join us on Saturday, January 29 at the Healthy West Orange Fresh Start Festival at the Town of Oakland! Walk, run, or bike a 5K as a community. All ages, strollers, and even pups are welcome! The race will begin at the Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center at the Town of Oakland, with check-in at 8:00am, warm-ups at 8:30am, and race kick off at 9:00am.

Both virtual and in-person participants will earn a sweet (and FREE) race T-shirt and medal to show off that healthy victory!*

Step 1:
Register for your free T-shirt and medal. Registration is now open! * We have received such a great response in our past few 5Ks, that we are now giving prizes on a first come, first serve basis. Sizes cannot be reserved ahead of time, and quantities are limited. Participants are able to pick up prizes for members of their household only. 

Step 2:
Complete your 5K virtually before January 31, or in person at the Healthy West Orange Fresh Start Festival at the Town of Oakland on January 29.

Step 3:
Share your finish line photo or video with us via social media with #HealthyWestOrange, #westlysvirtual5K and tag @healthywestorange, or email westly@healthywestorange.org.

T-Shirt & Medal Pick-Up:

For virtual AND in-person event participants: Saturday, January 29, from 8:00am – 10:00am at the Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center at the Town of Oakland.

*  Due to prizes being first come, first serve, we recommend attending the first opportunity for pickup on Saturday, January 29 for the best chance of receiving your preferred T-shirt size and medal. Although we encourage folks to join us, you do not have to complete the group 5K to pick up your prizes on this date.

For virtual participants: Thursday, February 3, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Healthy West Orange’s NEW building: 1200 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL.
