Event Description

Join us for the 7th annual Tour de Lowcountry March 26,2022- a part of the Colleton County Rice Festival which is celebrating its 47th year!

We will leave Walterboro and ride through the Lowcountry, passing rice fields and plantations including White Hall Plantation, Bluff Plantation, and Cherokee Plantation with stops along the way offering food and drinks. You will travel the lowcountry roads and back to the same location where we started. The 2022 ride will follow the original course and will not be reversed this year. The 31 mile ride will turn around at White Hall Plantation stop and go back to Walterboro. Each participant will receive a commemorative medal, a high-quality t-shirt and food at the conclusion of a fun ride. So come enjoy a great day of fun, riding and fellowship. We will have our High Schools Clubs manning the Checkpoints and be voted on by the riders  for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and price money will be giving for best Checkpoint presentation, For more information go to www.ricefestival.org or call us at 843-893-7058.

We have plenty of parking. The waiver must be signed before you ride, and helmets are required. It is warm in March so dress accordingly.
