Thousands of walkers and runners will make strides in the ongoing fight against impaired driving during the

11th Annual UKG Presents Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5k on Sunday, April 24.

Walk Like MADD event staff is closely monitoring COVID-19 and will be following all local health and safety guidelines. In addition, virtual options are available for those that wish to participate from afar.

The day’s festivities will also include children’s activities, an awards ceremony, live musical performances and vendor/educational booths. The event will be attended by local dignitaries including Founder and Volunteer Chairperson Heather Geronemus.

Since it was established in 2011, this event has raised over $2.5 million that stays in our community to save lives and support victims of drunk driving.

All event proceeds benefit MADD Broward & Palm Beach’s community education, victim support services and youth programs.
