Event Description

Join us on Wednesday 2/2 (snow date of Wed. 2/9) as we celebrate Valentine's Day a little early!  We will be doing a 2.14 (ish) mile fun run around the Shoppes at South Hills Shopping Center to celebrate Valentine's Day.  This event is called "Share the Love" because we are encouraging you to bring a new friend (someone who hasn't been to a Fleet Feet event before) to the event.  Everyone who brings someone new (registration required) will be entered to win some really cool HOKA prizes.  There will also be HOKA demo shoes (models TBA) to try out during your run or walk (first come first serve on sizes starting at 5:30pm) and sweet treats for after the run.  Since we will be running in the dark, night gear is required to participate.  Each participant should have some kind of light (head, waist, wrist etc) to help see where they are going as well as something reflective or flashy that will clearly identify them as a runner to cars.  Fleet Feet can help if you need guidance on what is needed.  Valentine's Day colors are encouraged - reds, pinks etc.

Fine print:  If you are bringing someone to the event, please have them register here on RunSignup ahead of time.  Everyone will be required to sign a waiver to participate.  Since there can be a good amount of traffic in the shopping center in the evenings, we do not think that this event is suitable for strollers or small children.   Please use your best judgement when registering.
