Event Description

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, February 26th, 2022 we will be hosting our 5th annual UF Dream Team 5K at Flavet Field. Our theme this year is "Reach for the Stars," so show out in your best alien costume! Runner check-in will start at 8:00 AM and our race will officially begin at 9:15 AM. There will be food and beverages served for everyone beforehand and afterwards. Registration is currently $30 and is discounted to $25 for students. All those registered will receive a free Dream Team 5K t-shirt.  

Our organization is dedicated to brightening the lives of the children in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU and Pediatric ICU of UF Health Shands Children's Hospital through in-hospital volunteering and out-of-hospital events. In addition, Dream Team Engineering works closely with hospital professionals in order to develop apps and models used for patient procedure preparations. All proceeds from this 5K will go towards these initiatives for our patients! 

Please come out and tell all your friends to join in as well! All ages are welcome. There will be prizes, raffles, activities and crafts.
