Event Description
Join me in a *virtual* 5k run/walk on Sunday, Feb 27th to celebrate 2 years of life and fitness since the eventful race in Texas. I am thankful for the many family, friends, and health care professionals that have made my recovery possible and hope you can run with me.
For those local, you can also join me on the Morgantown rail trail. We’ll depart from the Terra Cafe trailhead at 930am.
While cardiac arrests are not rare, surviving one is extraordinary. According to the AHA, "There are more than 356,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA) annually in the U.S., nearly 90% of them are fatal. Survival with good functional status is 8.2%."
