RUN FOR RACHEL 
Rachel Cox Memorial 5K/Fun Run/Walk 

Our Run for Rachel is a fundraiser being held to show our community’s love to the family of Rachel Cox, an 11th grader at Tulpehocken High School that we tragically lost in a car accident this past January.  Rachel was a daughter, sister, friend, neighbor, honor student and STELLAR athlete including being an avid runner.  Our hopes are that this run encompasses all that Rachel loved as well as to show the Cox family how much they mean to our community.  All proceeds will go to a scholarship in Rachels name, as well as a portion to the Bernville Fire Company.  

Awards:              
Medals presented to the top three (3) Male and three (3) Female finishers in each of the following age brackets: 14 & under, 15-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60+ years.  Awards will not be mailed.  

Entry:                    
$25.00 for 5K or Walk by May 6th in order to be guaranteed a memorial 5K tshirt.  The fee for entries after May 6th or on race day will be $30.00 and tshirt will not be included.  Sorry no refunds, but we will be honored to still donate your fee to the cause.  
Fun Run (for runners 10 and under) fee is $15.00 (will not include a t-shirt, but all runners 10 and under will receive a goodie bag).  

Amenities:            
The rolling hills of the cross country course of the Tulpehocken Area High School will be the backdrop for our challenging 5K course that is still “doable” for runners of all levels. Our Walk and Fun Run will be designed with any activity level in mind, on our high school track and level surfaces.  Water and a snack will be provided.  Awards will be given for designated age groups. Bernville Fire Company will also be on site that day.

Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com

Registration will begin at 8:00am, 5K Run to begin at 9:00am, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk to begin at 9:45am with Award presentation at 11:00am
