Celebrate Global Running Day with us!
This Global Running Day we will mark the occasion with an event to celebrate all of you – our amazing running and walking community. We invite you to join us at The Big Run on June 1 to log some mid-week miles. Set a goal, cross that finish line and celebrate Global Running Day with your friends, family and Fleet Feet community.
This year’s event will include virtual features that provide all participants with flexible race day options. This means you have two ways to celebrate with us:
Join us for an in-person 5K fun run on June 1st at 6:30pm on the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail
Run your own 5K course from any location - submit your time between May 29th and June 5th
Either way, you’ll have the ability to upload and view your results after your run!
Local In-Person Race Prizes:
- 1st Place Male / Female - $100 Gift Certificate to Fleet Feet Aptos | Monterey
- 2nd Place Male / Female - $75 Gift Certificate to Fleet Feet Aptos | Monterey
- 3rd Place Male / Female - $50 Gift Certificate to Fleet Feet Aptos | Monterey
- 1st Place Male / Female Age Group Finisher - $25 Gift Card to Fleet Feet Aptos | Monterey
Help Us Give Back: Through our charitable arm, Do the Run Thing™, Fleet Feet gives back to organizations like Girls on the Run whose local councils work hard inspire girls in our community to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Please consider an optional donation to Girls on the Run, so they can help more girls cross more finish lines. Thank you!
