Event Description

Please join us for the County of Riverside’s Superhero 5K run/walk on April 29, 2017 at 8 AM.  This event will be held at Rancho Jurupa Park, in Jurupa Valley, CA.  A favorite destination of campers and anglers from all over the country as well as local residents, beautiful Rancho Jurupa Park is situated along the Santa Ana River and located behind Mt. Rubidoux, just west of charming historic downtown Riverside. This popular award-winning regional park boasts a natural semi-rural setting of shady cottonwood trees, graceful meadows, and two lovely 3-acre lake.

Each paid participant receives a medal, t-shirt and goodie bag. Prizes will be given to the top three men and women on the course.  Prizes will also be awarded for the best superhero costumes—so plan now to join in the themed-run!

The Superhero 5K run/walk is a fundraising event for the Riverside County Employee Campaign, which is an annual fundraiser for Riverside County employees to voluntarily contribute to non-profit organizations of their choosing through payroll deduction and other fundraisers.  The funds support charitable organizations throughout Riverside County, which make a huge impact on the lives of County residents.  The Riverside County Employee Campaign is a 501 (c)(3) organization, Tax ID #95-1742174.
