Event Description

Join us for the 55th Anniversary Wo-Zha-Wa 5k in memory of Bud Gussel.  Bud was named "Man of the Year", by Dells Events and played an instrumental part in the founding of the Wo-Zha-Wa annual fall festival, along with the Jaycees, Dells Country Historical Society and the United Fund.

Enjoy a scenic route along the Riverwalk, up what's known to the locals as "Turkey Hill", then throughout town, and end with a face paced run to the finish line on Broadway St.  The run is sure to be fun for runners of all skills.  

Included in this years registration will be a T-shirt and custom 55th Anniversary Medal.  

There are 2 registration options; You can enter to run just for fun, or for the competive 5k athletes, prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female athletes in each age group.  

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick Up will start at 7:00am and go until 8:30am on Saturday September 17, 2022.  Parking is available at Just a Game Fieldhouse.  Bathrooms and Showers are available at that facility.  Bring your registration confirmation and be ready to have a great time!!!

There will be an after race event held at Dells Athletic Club located at 595 Commercial Ave for anyone who wants to come out for a little fun after the race.
