Low-key, no frills event!

Distance & Timing

Choose your distance between 4-40 miles as Rob aims to complete a 40 mile run and 40 backpacks filled and donated for his 40th birthday.

The goal is to run a 4.1 mile loop every hour on the hour. This is an excellent way to test out running an ultra distance, come out for a 4 miler and every distance between. 

• 5:30am - Runners can gather for the 6am start on the front lawn.
• 6am - First loop starts
• 3pm - Last loop starts 

The start time of the loops may be pushed back as the race progresses. 

This is an untimed run with no awards. 

Cost

Race entry is free, but a donation to help cover costs is always appreciated. Please bring a backpack and/or school supplies to donate. Rob was a teacher for 10 years and saw first hand how impactful a backpack, a pen, some folders, and a notebook can be to students and their families. His goal is to gather and fill 40 backpacks during this event. 

Aid Stations

There are no aid stations along the course. We will have some race food (typical ultra items) at the loop start and end. You can also leave your drop bag at the loop start. There are two public bathrooms out along the course. We encourage you to bring the nutrition you will need for your run both while you are running and stashed at the start.

While You Run

There will be some entertainment for the kids while you are running your loops, but children need to be supervised by an adult. This is an easy way to take turns leap frogging the course with a partner.

There is space to put out a chair and blankets while you are waiting between loops. Come for one loop, or come for many, we would love to have you out there with us! 

Race Course

The entire course is stroller friendly. There are road crossings that will be unmanned, so you need to be on alert. We will have printed course maps for you, but we are not marking the trail, so you will need to be familiar with the course. No dogs allowed.
