Event Description

Hey there ATL Runners and Walkers. We have a great new event , THE PEACHTREE MILE coming up on Sunday, Dec 4 2022 at 8 am with the start at Colony Square and finish at Piedmont Park. Unique collectors T shirts. This willl be Atlanta's Premier short distance race and will gain popularity quickly. Prize money as follows for the Elite runners : $ 500 for First Male and first Female, $ 250 for Masters Male and Masters Female. $ 50 for First in Age Group Winners. Medals/ awards 3 deep ( with 1st getting cash) 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29 , 30- 39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 , 70 and over.  Great refreshments, including hot chocolate and coffee. Be a part of the next big time race in Atlanta. Limited to 1,000 runners/ walkers. See you on Dec 4 2022 .

Event details and schedule

There is no race day registration. Race will start near Colony Square on Peachtree southbound , turn left on 10th Street and end on 10th near the Charles Allen gate. Runners will gather in the park at the 14th Street gate. Police and staff will walk runners/ walkers up 14th street west to the Start line on Peachtree Street. Park in the parking deck-- enter the lot on Piedmont at the Atlanta Botanical Garden sign and park and walk to the 14th Street gate no later than 7 45 am.  Note that race day packet pick up is at the Charles Allen gate 6 30 am to 7 15 am (not later) Early packet pick up is at Phidippides Ansley Male Dec 1 and 2 --10 am to 6 pm Race limited to 1,000 register now   Disclaimer- This Event does not have any affiliation with The Atlanta Track Club or Peachtree Road Race 10K in Atlanta.
