Event Description

Come check out the trails at Creekside, try on the latest Altra trail shoes, and learn some trail running tips & tricks from the experts. Altra and Extra Mile will be hosting this FREE fun-filled evening of adventure, community, and prizes!

Overview
This course preview and trail demo is open to anyone. Whether you're signed up for the race, curious about Altra shoes, or just want to dip your toes into the world of trail running, this event is for you. We'll be starting off the evening at 6pm with a quick trail running clinic to share tips and tricks for running on trails, followed by a brief group warm-up, then we'll head out on the course for some scenic miles with friends! Afterwards we'll gather up, crack open some drinks, and raffle off a few great prizes!

Demo and Prizes
Altra will be supplying us with demo pairs of their latest trail shoes to test out during the run.
*Arrive at least 15 min early to ensure you get a pair in your size
Extra Mile will be raffling off a pair of Altras for one lucky winner! All registered participants will also receive a coupon for $10 off any Altra shoe

The Run
Separate 2 mile and 5k loops will give runners a sense of what the full 4-mile and 9-mile loops will offer come race day. The recommended routes will be marked, but feel free to roam around the trails if you're feeling adventurous. Run with the group, with a friend, or on your own - regardless, we want you to enjoy the evening, make new friends and get a good sense of the race course! There will be no aid/water stops out on the course, so be sure to bring any hydration you need during the run. Post-run water and refreshments will be available at the trailhead.
