Event Description

Join us for a fun, easy 5k walk at Maple Grange Park at 9:00am on October 1, 2022 to support the Vernon Animal Shelter. If you are bringing your pup, they must be licensed, leashed and well socialized to participate in this event. :) A fun filled morning with snacks, vendors, music provided by DJ Hi Energy Entertainment and a dog training presentation. Tshirts will be available for purchase while supplies last.

The Vernon Animal Shelter serves not only Vernon, but many of the surrounding communities in keeping our fur friend population safe and healthy. 

With your help, our friends at The Vernon Animal Shelter can continue on this mission, serving and aiding as many animals as possible.  Every animal that comes to the shelter receives any necessary medical treatment, vaccinations as well as spay/neutering. They also partner to provide low cost spay/neuter clinics, free rabies clinics, a TNR program for feral cats and of course finding furever homes for all of the animals that find themselves at Hotel Vernon.  

Donations of supplies such as cat food, dog food, kitten milk, kitty litter, towels, blankets and sheets are always welcome as well as gift cards to tractor Supply, local food stores, Walmart, etc.
